Intel just listed three new Arrow Lake laptop processors on their website like it was no big deal. But it kinda is.
Say hello to:
- Ultra 5 235A
- Ultra 5 235TA
- Ultra 5 235UA
All three are launching in Q3 2025, and yes—they’re built for laptops.
Let’s break this down quick and clean 👇
🔍 What Just Got Released?
Intel is expanding its Ultra 5 line for mid and entry-level laptops.
Here’s what each chip brings to the table:
🟢 Ultra 5 235A
- Basically a refresh of the existing Ultra 5 235
- Specs are almost the same
- Targeted at affordable laptops
- No surprises, no risks
🟡 Ultra 5 235TA
- Same base architecture as 235A
- Lower CPU frequencies
- Possibly tweaked for better battery life or cooler thermals
- Likely going into fanless or thin designs
🔴 Ultra 5 235UA
- This one’s different
- Core layout:
- 2x Performance cores (P-cores)
- 8x Efficiency cores (E-cores)
- 2x Low-power efficiency cores (bonus!)
- 14 threads total
- Built using Intel’s own 3D process tech
- Not TSMC’s N3B like the others
- Aimed at low-power ultrabooks that need more threads without the heat
📱 Designed for Laptops That Just Work
They’re made for:
- Budget ultrabooks
- Everyday thin-and-light laptops
- Possibly fanless notebooks that need silent efficiency
The 235UA, in particular, feels like Intel’s testing something new—its own custom silicon direction.
We’re TNNL. We catch what others miss.
Stay tuned—because these “quiet” chips might power the laptop you buy next.
